Screen Displays 'Cash Only'

Learn how to solve 'Cash Only' on your Nayax device.

VOO:

V00 indicates there is no MDB communication between the Nayax device and the VMC. The device can power up and communicate with Nayax's servers, however, there is no MDB signal from the machine.

Why is it happening?

There could be a few reasons for the V00 (cash only) state:

  1. Fault on the vending machine board
  2. A configuration issue on the machine (for example, cashless is not enabled on the machine board)
  3. Faulty or wrong cable
  4. A configuration issue on the device (for example device is configured to Marshall protocol instead of MDB)

VO1:

V01 indicates that the MDB connection between the device and machine is currently inactive and awaiting initialization from the Vending Machine. While in the Inactive state, cashless devices cannot be accepted for vending purposes. The cashless device cannot leave this state until all Setup information is received from the VMC.
